Pink Floyd played The Dark Side of the Moon from start to finish at the Empire Pool in Wembley in November 1974, and this CD presents that set as an album of its own. The label is Pink Floyd Records, the catalog number PFR50CD2 and the street date March 24, 2023; the disc sits in a gatefold card sleeve with a 12-page booklet. The video above is the band's own release of "Breathe (In the Air)" from this recording.

Until 2023 the concert was available only as part of the 2011 Immersion and Experience editions of The Dark Side of the Moon. This CD and its vinyl counterpart were its first standalone releases, issued the same day as the 50th Anniversary box set that also carries it. Andy Jackson mixed it, assisted by Damon Iddins, and mastered it at Tube Mastering; Brian Humphries engineered the original recording with Phill Brown.

On stage the band worked with saxophonist Dick Parry and the backing vocal group the Blackberries. This CD carries the unedited performances of "Money" and "Any Colour You Like."

The sleeve, designed by Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis with Peter Curzon of StormStudios, reproduces George Hardie's original 1973 line drawing of the prism, complete with its handwritten guide notes.
