[PIAS] Recordings Germany's red vinyl edition of Patchouli Blue, on two LPs. The album was first released in 2020.

It came six years after Piano Nights and was the band's first album as a trio, Christoph Clöser, Morten Gass and Robin Rodenberg, following Thorsten Benning's departure. Clöser and Gass are credited with all eleven compositions.

The band announced the record in its own words: "Patchouli Blue - instrumental, slow, uneventful - as always. Love it, hate it, listen to it."

Clöser and Gass recorded and engineered it themselves at Dark Victory Studios in Cologne and Mülheim/Ruhr, and it was mixed and mastered at Pulsarstudio by Andi Reisner with the band. The photographs are Kim von Coels's, the ornaments Gass's, and the layout Sven Grot's.
