A clear vinyl double LP of Piano Nights from [PIAS] Recordings Germany, which originally released the album in 2014.

It is the last Bohren studio album with drummer Thorsten Benning. By the time of Patchouli Blue six years later, the band was a trio.

Alongside Benning, Christoph Clöser plays piano, saxophones and vibraphone, Morten Gass organ, Mellotron, baritone guitar and piano, and Robin Rodenberg double bass. The music is by Clöser and Gass, recorded at Dark Victory Studios and mixed and mastered by Andi Reisner together with the band at Pulsarstudio.

Clöser took the cover photograph. The organ photo and the crocheted blankets are Gass's, and Laurent Nyssen laid out the sleeve. The longest of the nine pieces is "Verloren (Alles)," at about ten and a half minutes.
