Half-Speed Master on 180g Black Vinyl With Double-Sided Insert

Undercover is pressed here from the half-speed master cut at Abbey Road Studios, on one 180-gram black LP with a double-sided insert. It is the June 2020 single-album issue of a cut first made for the 2018 box of the band's studio albums from 1971 to 2016.

The album came out on November 7, 1983, the seventeenth Rolling Stones studio album and their first set of all-new recordings of the 1980s, since Tattoo You had been built largely from older outtakes. Chris Kimsey joined Jagger and Richards as co-producer, the first outside producer the band had used since Jimmy Miller. Sessions began at Pathé Marconi Studios in Paris in November 1982 and finished in New York the following summer.

The songs move between hard rock, reggae and new wave, and the guest list follows: Sly Dunbar on percussion, David Sanborn on saxophone and Chuck Leavell on keyboards. Ian Stewart plays piano on "She Was Hot" and on "Pretty Beat Up," a song written largely by Ronnie Wood.

Peter Corriston designed the sleeve around art by Hubert Kretzschmar, and the first vinyl run carried real peel-off stickers on the cover. Undercover reached number three in the UK and number four in the US, the first Stones studio album in more than a decade to miss the top spot in America.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
