This is XL Recordings' pressing of In Rainbows, catalog number XLLP324: a single 180-gram black LP carrying the album's ten songs, five on each side. XL's own US store lists this barcode as its In Rainbows LP.

Radiohead began work on the album in 2005, set aside sessions with producer Spike Stent, and went back to Nigel Godrich in 2006. Recording moved between Tottenham House in Wiltshire, Halswell House in Taunton, Godrich's studio at the Hospital Club in London and the band's own studio in Oxfordshire. Bob Ludwig mastered it at Gateway Mastering in New York in July 2007.

The album appeared first as a download on October 10, 2007, at whatever price each buyer chose to pay. The retail release followed through XL on December 3, 2007, and in North America through TBD Records on January 1, 2008. It topped the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200, was the best-selling vinyl record of 2008, and won Best Alternative Music Album and Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package at the 51st Grammy Awards.

"Jigsaw Falling Into Place," the video above, and "Nude" were the singles.
