Seaweed & Water Vinyl 5LP Box Set

Five 180g LPs pressed in two colorways, Seaweed and Water, housed in a deluxe lift-off box with a cut-out Phish Aquarium set, a replica of the aquarium stage set from the show. The release carries all 30 tracks of the show, mixed by Jon Altschiller from the band's original 2-inch 24-track reels. Chris Bellman mastered the vinyl and cut the lacquers at Bernie Grundman Mastering, and the records were pressed in the Czech Republic. Catalog number JEMP1115.

Paul Languedoc recorded the show to multitrack, with GBH Mobile credited for the recording, and Boston's WBCN 104.1 FM broadcast it live. New Year's Eve 1993, Live At Worcester Centrum is the first live Phish show released on digital and vinyl at the same time, and it debuted at No. 7 on Billboard's Vinyl Albums chart and No. 10 on Top Album Sales.

December 31, 1993 was Phish's fifth annual New Year's Eve show, their first at the Worcester Centrum, a 14,800-capacity hockey arena, and the biggest headline gig of their career to that point. Tickets cost $22.50 and the show sold out. The band had spent the fall recording Hoist, their fifth studio album, released in March 1994.

The stage for the entire four-show 1993 holiday run was an aquarium, complete with seaweed, rocks, swimming fish and a giant clam, built by Chris McGregor and J.W. Nickel of Rocket Science. The show ran three sets and an encore. According to the liner notes, as midnight approached the clam rose off the stage and shook through the countdown to 1994; the band returned with "Auld Lang Syne," leading into the first "Down With Disease" jam. "Peaches en Regalia" was played for Frank Zappa, who had died that December, and Tom Marshall sang on "Run Like An Antelope."
