Transparent Clear & Red Splatter Vinyl LP

BMG's 2023 reissue of Nobody's Fools is pressed on transparent clear vinyl with red splatter, catalog number BMGCAT714LP. The LP keeps the original eleven-song running order, five songs on side A and six on side B. It came out on March 3, 2023, in the same BMG series as The Amazing Kamikaze Syndrome, alongside a mediabook CD edition with five bonus tracks.

Nobody's Fools is Slade's sixth studio album, released on March 5, 1976. In the spring of 1975 the band had moved to New York to try to break the American market, touring constantly in support of Aerosmith, ZZ Top and Black Sabbath. Noddy Holder and Jim Lea wrote the songs out of that time in New York, and Chas Chandler produced the sessions at The Record Plant in mid-1975. Tasha Thomas sings backing vocals, the first female voice on a Slade album.

"In for a Penny" and "Let's Call It Quits" each reached No. 11 in the UK. "Nobody's Fool" stopped at No. 53, ending the band's run of 17 consecutive hit singles. The album reached No. 14 on the UK Albums chart, and the 2023 reissue charted at No. 9 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart. Record Collector's Colin Harper described it as "engagingly eclectic, if not quite truly classic," and Holder and drummer Don Powell have both named it their favorite Slade album.
