This 2026 Geffen reissue puts This Is Forever on two black LPs, with remastered audio and three bonus tracks gathered on Side D. An Interscope store edition on translucent ruby and black ice vinyl is a separate pressing under its own barcode.

This Is Forever was the second She Wants Revenge album, released by Geffen on October 9, 2007. Justin Warfield and Adam Bravin produced it themselves: Warfield on vocals, guitars and keyboards, Bravin on bass, keyboards, guitars and programming, with Scott Ellis on drums. It reached No. 58 on the Billboard 200, No. 14 on Alternative Albums and No. 18 on Rock Albums.

"True Romance" and "Written in Blood" were released as singles, and Warfield directed the video for "Written in Blood." The jacket restages the cover of the band's first album in black: the model wears black underwear and a funeral veil, and on the back she holds a black rose where the debut showed a kitchen knife.

Each Side D track first surfaced as a 2007 edition extra. "...And a Song for Los Angeles" was the Best Buy bonus track, and the instrumental versions of "Written in Blood" and "These Two Words" came from a red vinyl 12-inch made for independent record stores.
