Olivia Rodrigo - you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love (Spark In The Dark Black Vinyl)

Spark In The Dark Black Vinyl

This is the standard black vinyl edition of you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, which Olivia Rodrigo's own store calls "spark in the dark" black. All 13 songs are cut to a single LP, and the record follows the album's two-part design: side A is "girl so in love," seven songs from "drop dead" through "purple," and side B is "you seem pretty sad," six songs from "the cure" through "cigarette smoke."

Geffen Records released the album, Rodrigo's third, on June 12, 2026. She made it with producer Dan Nigro, her collaborator on SOUR and GUTS. It opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 485,000 album-equivalent units, and vinyl accounted for 164,000 of them, spread across more than 15 physical versions.

"drop dead," the video above, came out on April 17, 2026 and entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1, her fourth chart-topper after "drivers license," "good 4 u" and "vampire." Its opening verse nods to The Cure's "Just Like Heaven," and Robert Smith of The Cure sings with Rodrigo on side B's "what's wrong with me."
