This is the 2018 Death Waltz Recording Company pressing of John Carpenter's Halloween score, catalogue number DW135, issued as the 40th Anniversary Edition on translucent orange vinyl. Its audio comes from the film's original mono stems, so the score plays as it was heard in theaters in 1978.

One 180-gram LP in translucent orange, pressed by GZ Media and housed in a gatefold jacket of 425 gsm board. The front shows a rain-streaked window with the Shape's mask faint behind the glass. The dark centre labels carry the red Halloween logo and the 40th Anniversary Edition line, with a mask on side A and a jack-o'-lantern on side B. The runouts read 179567E1/A on side A and 179567E2/A on side B.

The score first appeared on record in Japan in 1979 on Columbia, and in the United States in 1983 on Varèse Sarabande. This reissue came four decades after the film, pressed in 2018 for its 40th anniversary under Death Waltz's own catalogue number.

Halloween is Carpenter's score for his own 1978 film, composed and recorded in three days.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection (if a return is required).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
