This is the West German compact disc of The Genius Of Coleman Hawkins on Verve catalogue number 825 673-2, made by PDO and carrying the matrix 825 673-2 03 # BC in its inner ring. It was remastered for compact disc by Dennis Drake at PolyGram Studios in the United States and pressed between 1985 and 1990.
One disc in a jewel case with a printed booklet. The booklet front reworks the original LP cover: the same Phil Stern portrait of Hawkins, cropped tighter, with the round red Verve logo at lower left and 825 673-2 printed at upper right, and without the Clef Series box the LP carried. The disc bears the AAD code, meaning an analog recording and mix with a digital master, and the booklet states it was made and printed in West Germany.
This disc is a reissue, not the original pressing. The album first appeared on LP in 1957 as Verve MG V-8261 in the Clef Series; this PolyGram-era compact disc followed nearly three decades later and carries twelve tracks.
The Genius Of Coleman Hawkins was recorded at Capitol Studios in October 1957, with Hawkins backed by Oscar Peterson, Herb Ellis, Ray Brown and Alvin Stoller.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
