This is the white vinyl edition of Secretly Canadian's reissue of It's Alright (I See Rainbows), Yoko Ono's 1982 album, back on vinyl for the first time in more than forty years with expanded and enhanced artwork. It keeps the original ten-song sequence across two sides. The two bonus tracks, "Forgive Me My Love" and a live Budapest recording of "Dream Love", appear only on the expanded CD and digital editions, and a black vinyl LP is the other vinyl edition. The release continues the label's series of Ono reissues.

Ono produced the album herself at The Hit Factory in New York. The players include keyboardists Paul Griffin and Paul Shaffer, guitarists Hugh McCracken and Elliott Randall, bassist Tony Levin, drummer Yogi Horton, Badal Roy on tabla and Howard Johnson on baritone saxophone and tuba, with Carlos Alomar among the backing vocalists. Secretly Canadian's notes describe the record as drawing equally on 1960s girl-group vocals and 1980s synthesizer experimentation.

Polydor first released it in 1982, and it reached No. 98 on the Billboard 200. "My Man", backed with "Let the Tears Dry", was the first single, and "Never Say Goodbye" followed in January 1983. In her Onobox notes Ono wrote that "My Man" began as "My Papa", the name she used for John Lennon when speaking with Japanese-speaking friends. The 1995 video for "Never Say Goodbye", directed by Peter Bogdanovich, was made for AIDS awareness in support of amfAR.

Speaking in 1983, Ono called the album "like my diary". She described its first side as coming from the heavy weeks around December 8, the date of Lennon's death, and its second as the turn to "it's all right", prompted by their son Sean waking her: "Wake up and dream love, and let the tears dry and I see rainbows." Looking back in 1992, she wrote, "It was '82 and it seemed as though I was finally in sync with the world."
