Black Vinyl 12-Inch EP at 45 RPM

This is the standard black vinyl edition of SZNZ: Summer, one 12-inch disc cut at 45 RPM. It came out on May 19, 2023, almost a year after the songs first appeared digitally, and it adds an eighth track, "Portia," that the digital and CD editions leave off. That brings the vinyl running time to just under 27 minutes, against 23:37 for the shorter editions. The shrinkwrap carries an Atlantic Records 75th anniversary hologram sticker that mistakenly reads "Limited Edition Crystal Clear Vinyl." The record inside is black.

Summer is the second of four installments in Weezer's SZNZ (pronounced "seasons") project. Each one was timed to a solstice or an equinox in 2022, and Summer arrived digitally on June 21, the summer solstice. Rivers Cuomo described its sound as "21st century 90s." Daniel Omelio produced it, Suzy Shinn handled additional and vocal production, and Bernie Grundman mastered it. Sessions took place at 4th Street Recording in Santa Monica with the band's lineup of Rivers Cuomo, Brian Bell, Scott Shriner and Patrick Wilson.

The lead single "Records" was first released on June 16, 2022, through the "Human Record Player," a phone app made with the Los Angeles art studio BRAIN. The app played the song only while the listener turned in a clockwise circle. The single went on to No. 6 on Billboard's US Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. In his Exclaim! review, Alex Hudson called Summer the band's heaviest release, ahead of Maladroit and Van Weezer.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Tracking & Safe Delivery

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

If a shipment is delayed, missing, or marked as delivered but not received, we’re happy to assist in coordinating with the carrier.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection (if a return is required).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
