This LP presses The Greater Good, the second album from the Gothenburg, Sweden rock band Velveteen Queen, on red and black corona vinyl. Silver Lining Music issues the record, which runs eleven tracks and was produced by Sören Andersen. Peter Keys of Lynyrd Skynyrd plays piano on the title track.

The lineup is Samuel Nilsson on lead vocals and keys, Lukas Axx and Noah Mårdh on guitars, Vilmer Fall on bass and Isac Borg on drums. The band played its first show in 2022, pressed a self-produced maxi-single, The Theatre Sessions, on vinyl in 2023, and released its debut album, Consequence of the City, in 2024. That album was licensed to King Records for Japan and parts of Asia in January 2025, and in 2025 the band signed a worldwide deal with Silver Lining Music.

Four songs were issued ahead of the album: the title track, "Adrenaline," "Too Far Gone" and "Talk or Walk." Patric Ullaeus directed the video for "The Greater Good," a song the band describes this way: "We confront the lies running deep in our city, challenging apathy while calling for action amid chaos." Silver Lining Music's notes place the record in the line of Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Velvet Revolver and Hanoi Rocks, and the band has shared stages with Alice Cooper and Judas Priest.
