Laguna Blue Marble Vinyl LP

This RockBeat Records reissue presses Surf-Age Nuggets: Trash & Twang Instrumentals as a limited edition on Laguna blue marble vinyl. The single LP carries 14 instrumentals from the surf underground of the early and mid-1960s, seven to a side. AllMusic describes the set as the first of a series, gathering local and regional surf sides that never became national hits.

The LP first appeared from RockBeat in 2013. All 14 of its tracks also sit on Surf-Age Nuggets, the label's four-CD box from 2012, which ran to 104 tracks with track-by-track notes from Alan Taylor and Dave Burke of Pipeline magazine. James Austin, a former Rhino Records vice president, compiled the LP and wrote the surf-culture history in the box's book.

The running order opens on the Velvetones' "Doheny Run" and closes on the Runabouts' "Surfer's Fright," passing the Ramrods, the Reekers, the Emeralds and two sides from the Vaqueros. The Valiants' "Jack the Ripper" is a Link Wray composition, and the Vibrants' "The Breeze & I" is credited to Ernesto Lecuona.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
