This is Side Kicks under Arista's AL 8-8002 catalog number, which the album took on later in 1983 after its February US debut as AL 6607. Every stamper variant of this issue carries the STERLING stamp in both runouts.
The object
One LP. The labels read AL 8-8002, with the matrix numbers AL 8-8002 SA and AL 8-8002 SB printed in parentheses beneath. The side 1 runout begins AL 8 8002 SA-1, and STERLING is stamped on both sides.
Context
Side Kicks is the US and Canadian title of the album released in the UK on February 18, 1983, as Quick Step & Side Kick. The US edition keeps the same ten songs in a new order, moving Tears up to follow Love On Your Side and sending Judy Do to side two. Alex Sadkin produced it at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, with mixing at RAK Studios in London.
