Half Clear & Half Sea Blue Vinyl LP, Alternate Cover Art, RSD Essentials #099

RSD Essentials #099 presses Submarine on a single LP split half clear and half sea blue, issued October 2, 2026 to mark two years since the album first came out. The release notes pair that new colorway with alternate cover art: the jacket carries an underwater photograph of the band. All fourteen tracks sit on one disc, seven to a side.

Submarine was the Marías' second studio album and their first since Cinema in 2021, released by Atlantic and Nice Life on May 31, 2024. It was written after María Zardoya and Josh Conway ended their relationship following the Cinema tour; the band stepped away for six months, went to therapy together, and drew on that process for the songs. The film Three Colours: Blue shaped much of the record's look, including a deliberate shift in palette from red to blue.

Conway produced the album with Gianluca Buccellati, Neal H Pogue mixed it, and Joe LaPorta handled mastering. The lyrics move between English and Spanish. Four singles came first: "Run Your Mouth" in March 2024, "Lejos De Ti" in April with a video filmed at Lake Tahoe, then "If Only" and "No One Noticed" on the same day in May. Three days before street date, more than 100 record stores across the US hosted listening parties for it.

Submarine reached No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and No. 6 on Billboard's Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, and is certified Platinum by the RIAA and Gold by Music Canada. Stereogum's editors chose it as their Album of the Week.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
