This anniversary LP marks ten years since Awfully Apeelin', the 2016 debut EP from The Happy Fits. One record carries four newly re-recorded versions of the EP's songs, labeled Revisited, followed by re-mastered versions of the same four original recordings. This pressing is on blue and yellow marble vinyl; a blue and yellow split edition limited to 500 copies was sold separately through the band's own store.

The anniversary recordings were issued digitally as Awfully Apeelin' Revisited (10 Year Anniversary) on August 27, 2026, through Diamond City, the label behind the band's 2020 album What Could Be Better.

The Happy Fits formed in 2016 in Pittstown, New Jersey, around lead vocalist and cellist Calvin Langman and guitarist Ross Monteith. The original EP was engineered and produced by Matt Maroulakos. After a Spotify playlist placement, "While You Fade Away" climbed from under 1,000 plays to over 39,000 and reached No. 5 on Spotify's Top 50 Viral USA chart three days later, and in 2017 the band members left college to pursue the band full-time.

Four full-length albums have followed: Concentrate in 2018, What Could Be Better in 2020, Under the Shade of Green in 2022 and Lovesick in 2025. Fresh Air critic Ken Tucker named What Could Be Better one of the ten best albums of its year.
