This is the 25th anniversary vinyl edition of Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, issued by Island Records and UMe in October 2018 as a single 180-gram black LP. The album was remastered at Abbey Road Studios under the supervision of guitarist Noel Hogan, and the lacquers for this pressing were cut at half speed at Abbey Road by Miles Showell.

The gatefold jacket holds printed inner sleeves carrying the full lyrics. The back of the sleeve is dedicated to the memory of Dolores O'Riordan, who died in January 2018; the band had announced the anniversary edition that March, and its release was delayed until later in the year following her death.

Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? was The Cranberries' debut album, released by Island in 1993. Stephen Street, whose earlier credits include the Smiths and Morrissey, produced it, and it was recorded at Windmill Lane in Dublin and Surrey Sound in Leatherhead. O'Riordan traced the title to the thought that "Elvis wasn't always Elvis," and that a band from anywhere could reach the same kind of success.

The album reached No. 1 in the UK and Ireland and No. 18 on the Billboard 200. In June 1994 it became the fifth album in rock history to reach No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart more than a year after its release. "Dreams," the album's first single, sits second on side A, and "Linger," which reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, opens side B.
