This double LP pairs the 2026 remaster of Nobody's Heroes with a second record of BBC Radio 1 sessions. The first disc carries the original ten-track album, five songs a side. The second holds twelve session recordings: eight from two John Peel sessions, recorded on September 13, 1979 and February 12, 1980, and four from a Mike Read session of February 1, 1980. Among them is "Straw Dogs," which is not part of the album's running order.

Rhino released the 2LP alongside a 2CD edition and a limited 3CD and DVD set, which adds a previously unreleased April 1980 concert from Pop Met in Rotterdam and five 1980 television appearances.

Nobody's Heroes was the Belfast band's second album, following the 1979 debut Inflammable Material, and its first for Chrysalis. It was recorded at Olympic Sound Studios in London between January 21 and February 1, 1980, with Doug Bennett producing, and came out that March. Jake Burns has said his overriding memory of those sessions is that the band was suddenly under pressure, and that they went in with only five songs, which became nearly the whole of the first side.

The lineup was Burns on vocals and guitar, Henry Cluney on guitar, Ali McMordie on bass and Jim Reilly on drums. Most of the songs were written by the band with Gordon Ogilvie, and "Doesn't Make It All Right" is a cover of a song from The Specials' debut album. The album reached number eight on the UK chart. "At the Edge" went to number 15 on the UK singles chart, and the "Nobody's Hero" / "Tin Soldiers" single to number 36.
