CD in Jewel Case With Booklet

SOTC II on compact disc comes in a jewel case with a booklet that lists the players on each song and adds an "SOTC Vandalism Gallery" of Standing on the Corner graffiti photographed in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and in New York. The disc, catalog number XL-1632, prints the full 15-song running order and is marked mono. It credits the recording to Kool City, NYC, and the production to Go! Demarcus.

XL Recordings' notes name bandleader Gio Escobar and core collaborators Jack "Wacko" Nolan, Buz "Man-man" Donald and Clérida "Ca$h Clay" Eltimé. The booklet lists players song by song: on "How Deep Is The Sea?" Escobar is credited with vocals, drum machines, Farfisa organ, Wurlitzer piano, rhythm guitar and synthesizers, with Aja Grant on electric piano, and the closing track adds a string section of Eltimé on cello, Devin Starks on double bass, and Dajour Smith and J'Niya Blunt on violin.

Guests include The Warlockettes, Ladybug Mecca, Styles P, Bubba Dupree, Claudette Ortiz, Sonia Sanchez, Solange and Danny Brown. Sanchez and Solange both sing on "Sonia," which also carries a sample of "The Case of the Prison Caper" from Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse.

The album first surfaced a year before this release. On September 11, 2025 the group issued it with a companion film on DVD, sold for $50 in Times Square by someone in a Mickey Mouse costume, as The FADER reported; XL Recordings brought it to streaming services on September 11, 2026, with "Mr. Postman, wait!" as the lead single. SPIN notes that the guest roster changed between the two versions. Escobar told The FADER: "When you see that things have changed, you have to raise the stakes. Or you die."

Standing on the Corner formed in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and released a self-titled album in 2016 and Red Burns in 2017. The group is credited with production and songwriting on six tracks of Solange's When I Get Home (2019) and with production on "Shine" from Danny Brown's uknowhatimsayin¿ (2019).
