Music On Vinyl's 2026 pressing of Slick Rick's third album: one 180-gram black LP with a printed insert, catalog number MOVLP4093. Def Jam Recordings released the original on November 22, 1994.

Rick recorded it across furloughs from a prison sentence and a 1993 work-release period, and some of the tracks were built around vocals he had taped years earlier. It reached No. 51 on the Billboard 200 and No. 11 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and carried two singles, "Behind Bars" and "Sittin' In My Car."

Production is credited to Warren G, Greg Nice, Paul Huston, Easy Mo Bee and Slick Rick. Pete Rock remixed "I'm Captive" and "Get A Job," and Large Professor remixed "It's A Boy." Doug E. Fresh guests on "Sittin' In My Car," Nice & Smooth on "Let's All Get Down," and Warren G on the title track.

Vibe's review said Rick's "legendary street brilliance and sparkling, charming wit can even be distilled from behind bars."

Rick had arrived in the mid-1980s as the voice on Doug E. Fresh & The Get Fresh Crew's "The Show" and "La Di Da Di," and his 1988 debut The Great Adventures of Slick Rick carried "Children's Story."
