The first vinyl issue of Is Ellipsis, in a gatefold on Laguna eco mix, twenty years after the album appeared on CD.

Psyche Origami were a trio from Atlanta: Wyzsztyk raps and produced most of the record, with DJ Dainja and DJ Synthesis on turntables. They worked live as "4 Turntables: 1 Mic" — two DJs across four decks behind a single microphone, trading scratch routines between verses. A Boise Weekly writer covering them placed the group alongside Black Star, Dr. Octagon and Deltron 3030.

ArcTheFinger Records released the album on May 17, 2005. It was cut at the Home Park Bombshelter in Atlanta, mixed by Devin Johnson and Jonathan Cooper, and mastered by Glenn Schick. Locksmith guests on "No Negotiation," the only outside voice on the record. Two of the beats came from elsewhere: B Flat produced "At Last" and Captain Mudfish Starbolt produced "Dead Right."

"Nuff Teef" had gone out as a 12-inch single on the same label in 2003, two years ahead of the album, backed with instrumental takes of "Eye Detector" and "Dead Right." The eighteen tracks here are the album as it was released; nothing has been added.
