One of the last live performances by Old & In the Way, the bluegrass supergroup of Jerry Garcia, David Grisman, Peter Rowan, John Kahn and Vassar Clements. Recorded November 4, 1973 at Sonoma State, the set runs 19 tunes - Peter Rowan's "Panama Red" and "Midnight Moonlight", the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses", and bluegrass standards from Bill Monroe and the Stanley Brothers among them - with special guest "Ramblin'" Jack Elliott sitting in on two songs.
This pressing presents the full show as two honeydew cream colored LPs in a gatefold jacket, with artwork by D. Norsen and Taylor W. Rushing. First issued as a Record Store Day pressing limited to 5,500 copies; this Round Records edition streets August 21, 2026.
