[PREORDER] Phoebe Bridgers & Ari Balouzian - Primetime (Original Soundtrack) (CD)

Compact Disc in Card Wallet with Booklet

This CD puts the full Primetime soundtrack on a single disc, 25 tracks in a card wallet with a booklet. It closes on "On Video," a new Phoebe Bridgers song co-written with Jack Antonoff and Christian Lee Hutson that plays over the film's closing credits. Per A24 Music, no film had carried an original Bridgers end-title song before this one, and the track was her first release after Lost Weekend, her third solo album.

Everything before it is score by Ari Balouzian, a co-founder of the music production studio Appraiser. He and director Lance Oppenheim had already worked together on the documentaries Some Kind of Heaven, Spermworld and Ren Faire; Primetime is their first narrative feature, and Balouzian also scored A24's You Can See Everything, due in theaters October 16, 2026.

The film tells how Chris Hansen became the face of To Catch a Predator in 2006, with Robert Pattinson in the lead and Bridgers making her screen-acting debut in the cast. A24 Music issued the soundtrack digitally on September 25, 2026, the day Primetime reached US theaters after its Venice premiere.

The booklet credits the score as written, performed and mixed by Balouzian and produced by him with Ryan Hope, recorded at Appraiser Studio in Burbank and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road Studios. Max Whipple orchestrated and conducted the woodwinds, played by Michael Mull, Daniel Goldblum and Sheila Del Bosque, with Neil Charles on double bass and Trevor Estes on drums. On the song's own credits page, Caroline Shaw shares the vocal arrangement with Bridgers, and Ruairi O'Flaherty mastered it at Sterling Sound.
