180-Gram Black Vinyl Reissue

This is iam8bit's reissue of the MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Original Game Soundtrack: a single LP on 180-gram black vinyl, 19 tracks across two sides, in a jacket carrying new artwork from the Fumi Games team finished with foil embellishments. It follows the soundtrack's first vinyl edition, a 140-gram Noir Vinyl pressing issued by Mondo in 2026.

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is a first-person shooter from the Polish studio Fumi Games, published by PlaySide and released on April 16, 2026. It is drawn in the style of 1930s hand-drawn rubber hose animation, and the player takes the role of the private investigator Jack Pepper in the city of Mouseburg.

Patryk Scelina composed the score. The game's makers describe it as drawn from the big band swing of the 1930s but built to move and react to the player, and Scelina has said he approached it like an old film-noir detective tale. It was recorded live across sessions in Georgia and Poland; the jacket credits Green Rec Studios and Lenø Records, with Kacper Mikołajuk on additional music and orchestration and Kamil Biedrzycki as recording engineer and on mixing and mastering. Three of the Side A cues are co-written by Scelina and Mikołajuk, and "World's Fair" on Side B is Mikołajuk's alone.

The record closes with "Good Mouse," written for the soundtrack by the Parisian electro-swing band Caravan Palace, who are credited on the front of the jacket. Its animated music video, released ahead of the game, is drawn in the same black-and-white rubber hose style.
