Indie Exclusive Silver & Purple Metallic 2LP with 4K Ultra HD and HD Blu-ray

Mercury Studios split the Back to the Beginning soundtrack across four vinyl configurations, each pairing two LPs with the concert film on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and on HD Blu-ray. This is the silver and purple metallic pressing, the variant allocated to specialist and independent record shops: standard black went to wide retail, and purple splatter and silver splatter were sold direct. The allocation to independent retail is 4,000 copies.

The show at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, 2025 was Ozzy Osbourne's last performance, seventeen days before his death at 76. It reunited him with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the original Black Sabbath lineup's first time onstage together since 2005, and for the band's final show. The 44,000 available tickets drew more than three million requests. Jason Momoa hosted and Tom Morello was musical director. The event was not-for-profit, was streamed by more than five million people, and raised an estimated 6 to 7 million pounds for Birmingham Children's Hospital, Acorns Children's Hospice and Cure Parkinson's.

The two LPs carry both sets complete. Osbourne's, played with Zakk Wylde on guitar, Mike Inez on bass, Adam Wakeman on keyboards and Tommy Clufetos on drums, takes four songs from his 1980 solo debut Blizzard of Ozz - I Don't Know, Mr. Crowley, Suicide Solution and Crazy Train - alongside Mama, I'm Coming Home from 1991's No More Tears. Black Sabbath's set is War Pigs, N.I.B., Iron Man and Paranoid. The spoken introductions and Osbourne's remarks to the crowd are cut in where they fell, and are indexed as their own tracks.

The two video discs hold the full concert film, in 4K Ultra HD on one and HD on the other, with audio in Dolby Atmos, Dolby 5.1 and Dolby 2.0. On-disc extras include Jack Black's performance of Mr. Crowley, Fred Durst's reading of Changes, a behind-the-scenes featurette, video tributes and the Sounds of Birmingham documentary. Ben Wainwright-Pearce directed for screen, Tim van Someren directed the live concert, and Sharon Osbourne, who oversaw the concert, executive-produced the film.
