The soundtrack to 40 Years of Fuckin' Up, the NOFX documentary directed by James Buddy Day, pressed by Fat Wreck Chords on a single LP of solid pink vinyl (FAT324-1). This edition carries the film's fifteen songs on their own, eight on side A and seven on side B. Fat Mike's eleven-track score for the film appears only on the separate Soundtrack + Score release.

Two of the songs are new. The title track came out as a single in May 2026, and "We Did It Our Way" was written as the last song NOFX would ever play live. The version here was recorded on October 6, 2024, the final night of the band's three farewell shows at Berth 46 in San Pedro, California, which closed a forty-city tour marking forty years together. The live "NOFX" comes from the first night of that weekend. Fat Wreck counts six rare or unreleased recordings in the set, among them the "Secret Society" demo, "On the Road" as recorded in Omaha in 1986, and the band's cover of "La Bamba," alongside a live "Linoleum."

The film follows Fat Mike, Eric Melvin, Erik "Smelly" Sandin and Aaron "El Hefe" Abeyta through a career built with no managers, no radio and no major-label deal, the route that made NOFX, in the filmmakers' words, "the most successful independent band in history." Fat Mike has described it as "This Is Spinal Tap, but real." The 127-minute film had sneak screenings at SXSW in March 2026 ahead of its theatrical run. The cover illustration, with the band and crew gathered around a backyard pool, is by Tokyo Hiro.
