One black LP, pressed in the United States. The label divides the seven songs four and three: Side One runs "The Foggy Edge Of Time," "Day After Day," "Earth Girl" and the title track, and Side Two takes the rest. Both of the album's previously unheard alternate versions — "Casting Me Away From You" and "I Will Love You Forever" — sit on that second side. The Side One label also carries the SOURCE mark for mastering from original analog tapes.

The Chrome Hearts are Anthony LoGerfo on drums, Corey McCormick on bass and vocals, Micah Nelson on electric guitar and vocals, and Spooner Oldham on Hammond B3, Farfisa, pump organ, piano and mellotron. Neil Young sings and plays upright piano, acoustic and electric guitar, mellotron, marxophone and harmonica. This is the band's second studio record together and, counting the live As Time Explodes from earlier in 2026, their third release. The playing is semi-acoustic throughout.

The jacket runs the cover photograph edge to edge: Young barefoot at the wheel of a vintage sedan, with the artist and album name stenciled in capitals across the top.
