Expanded & Remastered 180 Gram Black Vinyl 2LP

Parlophone's 2020 expanded edition of On Parole, issued for Record Store Day Black Friday on two 180-gram LPs in printed inner sleeves. The first record is the original album, remastered at Alchemy Mastering. The second is a bonus 12-inch of alternate takes and a demo, two of them previously unreleased: the alternative take of "Iron Horse / Born to Lose" and the demo of "Fools."

On Parole was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales in 1975, with overdubs in early 1976, as Motörhead's first album. It is the only album recorded by the original lineup of Lemmy, guitarist Larry Wallis and drummer Lucas Fox, though Fox left near the end of the sessions and Phil Taylor replaced his drum parts on every song except "Lost Johnny." Dave Edmunds started as producer and Fritz Fryer finished the job.

United Artists declined to release it at the time. It finally came out in 1979, after Overkill and Bomber had made the band a chart act, without the band's approval, and it peaked at number 65 on the UK chart. "Motörhead," "The Watcher" and "Lost Johnny" had first been recorded by Lemmy with Hawkwind, "City Kids" came from Wallis's time in the Pink Fairies, and "Leaving Here" is the Holland-Dozier-Holland Motown song.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
