10th Anniversary Vinyl Edition, Remastered 180-Gram Double LP

This is the 10th Anniversary Vinyl Edition of Modest Mouse's The Moon & Antarctica, issued in the US by Epic and Legacy under catalog number 88697 66156 1. The audio was remastered at Masterdisk in New York and cut across four sides on two 180-gram black LPs. The front-cover sticker lists the remastered audio, artwork restored from the original 2000 release, and a download card for the full album.

The restored sleeve has a history. Isaac Brock was unhappy with both the final mix and the artwork after the album first came out, and Epic's 2004 CD remaster arrived with new cover art and four extra tracks from a BBC Radio 1 session. The 2010 anniversary reissue went back to the original artwork and the original 15-song running order, which is the sequence pressed here.

The Moon & Antarctica was the band's third studio album and their first for a major label. Brian Deck produced it at Clava Studios in Chicago, the first project recorded there, with sessions running from July to November 1999; the release credits place "Wild Packs of Family Dogs" at Jupiter Studio in Seattle. It peaked at number 120 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA in March 2009. Pitchfork, quoted on the sticker as calling it a "Top 10 Album of the Decade," ranked it the sixth best album of the 2000s.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Tracking & Safe Delivery

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

If a shipment is delayed, missing, or marked as delivered but not received, we’re happy to assist in coordinating with the carrier.

• Please retain all original packaging, including the outer box and packing materials

• Contact us as soon as possible (ideally immediately) after delivery

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection (if a return is required).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
