Clear 180g Vinyl LP With Replica Obi and Insert

Universal Music Japan pressed this limited first edition of Super Takanaka Live!, catalog number UPJY-9436, on clear 180-gram vinyl. Abbey Road engineer Alex Wharton remastered the concert from high-resolution transfers of the original master tapes and cut the lacquers. The record ships in a poly-lined sleeve with a replica obi and insert, and was issued alongside clear-color pressings of Seychelles, Takanaka and An Insatiable High.

The album was recorded at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on December 23 and 24, 1979, and released by Kitty Records on March 1, 1980. Susumu Ohno recorded and mixed it, and Takanaka produced.

On stage with Takanaka were drummers Shigeru Inoue and Yutaka Uehara, bassist Getao Takahashi, guitarist Kazuo Shiina, keyboardists Kiyosumi Ishikawa and Izumi Kobayashi, and saxophonist Hidefumi Toki. The set runs from "Blue Lagoon" to "Ready To Fly" and ends on "Kurofune," the title piece of the Sadistic Mika Band's 1974 album, recorded while Takanaka was in the band.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
