Anniversary Audiophile Edition 2LP on 180 Gram Black Vinyl

This anniversary edition presses Imaginal Disk across two heavyweight 180-gram black LPs. The discs sit in a pop-up gatefold jacket finished with rainbow foil, and a printed lyric insert comes with them. It is the standalone version of the anniversary pressing; the same double LP is also the centerpiece of a separate anniversary box set that adds an art booklet, prints and other extras.

Imaginal Disk is the second studio album from Magdalena Bay, the Los Angeles duo of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, and the follow-up to their 2021 debut, Mercurial World. Mom + Pop Music first released it on August 23, 2024.

Tenenbaum and Lewin produced the record. Dave Fridmann mixed it and Emily Lazar mastered it.

It is a loose concept album following a character named True after she receives the imaginal disk of the title, a CD-shaped implant that alters her consciousness. Four singles preceded the album: "Death & Romance," "Image," "Tunnel Vision" and "That's My Floor."
