Signs is Luke Bryan's ninth studio album, issued on a single CD of 12 tracks with a running time of 37 minutes. Matt Dragstrem, Jeff Stevens and Jody Stevens produced it. Bryan announced the album on May 12, 2026, during an appearance on the American Idol finale; he has been a judge on the show since 2018.

The CD opens with "Finders Keepers," a duet with Luke Combs written by Jimi Bell, Beau Bailey and Sam Ellis. "I've always wanted to get him on a song," Bryan said. "I've always wanted a Luke & Luke moment."

"Country and She Knows It," written by Matt Dragstrem, Josh Miller and Parker Welling, went to country radio on March 30, 2026. It was the most-added country single of its debut week, with 105 Mediabase reporting stations in its first week, and it reached No. 16 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. "Word on the Street" shares its name with Bryan's 2026 tour. He co-wrote two of the songs himself, "Fish Hunt Golf Drink" and "Crooked Rows of Corn," both with Chase McGill and Matt Dragstrem.

Bryan's first album, I'll Stay Me, came out on Capitol Nashville in 2007. Kill the Lights (2015) produced six No. 1 singles on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, the first time any artist had taken six from one album in that chart's history. Signs follows Mind of a Country Boy, released in 2024.
