Luc St-Pierre, Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans - For Honor: A Decade of Battle and Music (Gold Vinyl)

Gold Double Vinyl With 16-Page Booklet

Kid Katana Records made this double LP with Ubisoft for the tenth anniversary of For Honor. Both discs are pressed on gold vinyl, the cover art carries a glossy finish on the game's logo, and a 16-page booklet sets out each faction's music, with liner notes from the game's creative team and from composers Luc St-Pierre, Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans. Kid Katana's notes say the For Honor team chose the tracks, and that the selection includes two new pieces exclusive to Year 10 and a previously unreleased track from Year 1, Season 7.

The 26 tracks are grouped by faction, one faction to a side: Knight on side A, Viking on side B, Samurai on side C and Wu Lin on side D. Bensi and Jurriaans are credited on four of them, including the Knight, Viking and Samurai themes that open the first three sides and the unreleased "Storm and Fury." St-Pierre is credited on the other 22, among them "Glory Variation A" and "Glory Variation B," the two Year 10 exclusives, which close sides C and D.

For Honor is a medieval fighting game developed primarily by Ubisoft Montreal and released on February 14, 2017, for PlayStation 4, Windows and Xbox One. Its original score was written and produced by film composers Danny Bensi, Saunder Jurriaans and Owen Wallis, and a 20-track soundtrack album came out alongside the game. The Wu Lin faction arrived in October 2018 with the Marching Fire expansion, scored by Luc St-Pierre. Kid Katana puts the game's audience at more than 35 million players.

Kid Katana Records was founded by Tarafa Sahloul and Rémy Dahi, and describes its aim as bringing video game music into regular record stores. The recordings are licensed to the label by Ubisoft Music.
