RCA's own store sells this edition as the Looking Glass pressing: two LPs on coke bottle clear vinyl with a poster, catalog number ARCA 46916. The fourteen songs run four and three across the first record and four and three across the second.

Angel is Lizzy McAlpine's fourth studio album, released September 18, 2026 on RCA. She produced it with Mason Stoops and Taylor Mackall, both of whom worked on Older, and it was recorded in Los Angeles between 2024 and 2026. The label's notes call it "her most lyrically expansive and sonically ambitious body of work to date," and describe a range running "from '70s Laurel Canyon folk to rich 21st-century indie." Its subjects are love, heartbreak, and the endurance of community and friendship.

Fleet Foxes appear on "Soldier of the Road," the closing song on the first record's second side.

"The Light in the Painting" opened the album and was the first single, released July 23, 2026. "Ugly things," heard above, followed on August 21. The cover painting is by the artist tidy.totes, made with paint and chalk.
