This limited edition presses Here's Little Richard on Georgia Peach, an eco-friendly vinyl blend, for independent record stores. The color shares its name with Little Richard's own nickname, the Georgia Peach. All twelve songs of the original album are here on a single LP, opening with "Tutti Frutti," shown above in the official lyric video.

Specialty Records first issued the album on March 4, 1957, as SP-100, his debut LP. Its songs included a run of hit singles: "Long Tall Sally" and "Rip It Up" both reached No. 1 on the R&B chart, "Tutti Frutti" and "Jenny, Jenny" reached No. 2, and "Ready Teddy" No. 8. The LP climbed to No. 13 on Billboard's pop albums chart during a five-week run, the only time a Little Richard album reached the US top twenty.

Robert "Bumps" Blackwell produced the sessions, recorded at J&M Studio in New Orleans and at Radio Recorders and Master Recorders in Los Angeles. The players included Lee Allen on tenor saxophone, Alvin "Red" Tyler on baritone saxophone, Frank Fields on bass, Earl Palmer on drums and Edgar Blanchard on guitar, with Huey "Piano" Smith at the piano on "Baby."

Rolling Stone placed the album at No. 50 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2003 and again in 2012, and at No. 227 in the 2020 revision. Time included it in its All-TIME 100 Albums in 2010, and in 2025 Uncut named it the top album of the 1950s.
