Indie Exclusive Campari Red Vinyl, Gatefold Jacket With Printed Insert

This is the independent-retail edition of Happiness Anytime: a single LP pressed on Campari red vinyl, housed in a gatefold jacket with a printed insert. The red pressing is sold only through independent record stores, alongside the album's general-release editions on vinyl, CD and cassette.

Happiness Anytime is Leon Bridges' fifth studio album, released by Columbia Records. It was produced by J Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of the British trio Jungle and recorded at Chaplin Recording Studios in Los Angeles in sessions during April and August 2025, with Pino Palladino on bass and Eric Harland on drums. Columbia's notes credit Bridges with the storytelling and vocal performance, Kitto with melodic and harmonic detail, and Lloyd-Watson with the production, arrangements and structure, and name Fela Kuti's Afrobeat, Brazilian music, soul, disco and South American rhythms among the influences.

Columbia released the album's twelve songs in three four-song parts, starting on July 17, 2026 with "Light The Way," "Tears Of Joy," "Illusion" and "Your Love Is Electric." Kitto also sings on "All Day, All Night." Announcing the record, Bridges said, "I want this album to be something that lingers with people and lingers in people's bones."

Bridges came out of Fort Worth, Texas with his 2015 debut Coming Home, a platinum-certified, Grammy-nominated record. He has since collected six Grammy nominations and one win, Best Traditional R&B Performance for "Bet Ain't Worth The Hand," across the solo albums Good Thing, Gold-Diggers Sound and Leon (2024) and two collaborative records with Khruangbin, Texas Sun (2020) and Texas Moon (2022).
