Koe Wetzel - The Night Champion (Black Vinyl)

This is the standard black vinyl edition of The Night Champion, Koe Wetzel's sixth studio album, on a single LP with 11 tracks: six on Side A and five on Side B. Sony's listing for this LP includes "Jaded," his duet with Ella Langley, as the third song on Side A. The other vinyl editions are sold through Wetzel's own store, a limited gold pressing and camo and moon picture discs, each of which the store lists with a bonus track.

Columbia Records released the album on June 12, 2026. Gabe Simon produced it, assisted by Carrie K, except "The Man," which Steve Rusch produced. Wetzel explained the title in the label's announcement: "I survived the night side of me. I'm coming out of it a champion." Nikki Lane co-wrote "Dollar and a Bottle," and "Circus," written by Sam Harris of X Ambassadors, is the album's only outside song. The label also credits Amy Allen, Carrie K and Steph Jones as collaborators and Maggie Antone as a vocalist.

"Jaded" was released on August 7, 2026, written by Wetzel, Langley, Jordan Schmidt and ERNEST. It is the pair's first song together since "That's Why We Fight," the lead single from Langley's 2023 EP Excuse the Mess, and Langley has said Wetzel was one of the first artists she ever collaborated with. His line on her: "When she sings, you believe it."

Wetzel was born in Pittsburg, Texas, and is based in Fort Worth. After independent releases and two albums on YellaBush Records, Noise Complaint and Harold Saul High, he joined Columbia for Sellout in 2020, followed by Hell Paso in 2022 and 9 Lives in 2024. "High Road," with Jessie Murph, was his first country radio single; it reached No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, where Columbia says it held for five weeks, reached No. 22 on the Hot 100 and is certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA.
