They Don't Know is pressed here on a single black LP, its first appearance on vinyl, issued by BBR Music Group on September 18, 2026. The label's notes place the release in the album's 10th anniversary year. Side A runs from "Lights Come On" through the title song, and Side B carries the other eight tracks.

Broken Bow Records released the album on September 9, 2016, again produced by Michael Knox. It opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 138,000 album-equivalent units, Aldean's third straight album to top that chart, and it also reached No. 1 on Top Country Albums. BBR's August 2026 announcement lists it as Platinum.

"Lights Come On," "A Little More Summertime" and "Any Ol' Barstool" all went to No. 1 on Country Airplay, and the title song reached No. 3 there. Kelsea Ballerini sings with Aldean on "First Time Again."

Kurt Allison, one of the album's guitarists, co-wrote the title song and "Reason to Love L.A." The writers of "Lights Come On" include Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. BBR notes that after this album Aldean won ACM Entertainer of the Year three years running, in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
