This is the first vinyl pressing of Jason Aldean, the 2005 debut album from the Georgia native, released by BBR Music Group on September 18, 2026 together with vinyl editions of My Kinda Party and They Don't Know. The label's announcement notes that none of the three albums had been available on vinyl before. The single black LP carries all 11 songs, five on the first side and six on the second.

Broken Bow Records first issued the album on July 26, 2005, with Michael Knox producing. It reached No. 37 on the Billboard 200 and No. 6 on Top Country Albums, and it topped the Independent Albums chart. BBR's August 2026 announcement lists it as four times Platinum.

"Hicktown," written by Big Kenny, John Rich and Vicky McGehee, was the breakthrough single, and BBR notes that it earned Aldean his first ACM Award nomination for Song of the Year. It reached No. 10 on Hot Country Songs, "Why" went to No. 1 and "Amarillo Sky" to No. 4.

Two of the songs were recorded by other artists first: "Amarillo Sky" appeared on McBride & the Ride's 2002 album, and "Asphalt Cowboy" on Blake Shelton's The Dreamer in 2003. Aldean co-wrote "Even If I Wanted To," "You're the Love I Wanna Be In" and "She Loved Me." The players include Kurt Allison and Adam Shoenfeld on guitar, Tully Kennedy on bass and Rich Redmond on drums.
