This is the standard black vinyl pressing of Running Round The Sun, Jamie Webster's fourth album, issued by Modern Sky under catalog number MSK11LP. The twelve songs sit on a single LP, six to a side, and the label's packshot shows yellow center labels printed with the album's script title. A limited red vinyl edition (MSK11LPR) and a digipak CD were issued alongside it.

The album was produced by Dave Eringa and Tim Cunningham and recorded at Rockfield Studios in South Wales and Mission Sound Studios in New York. Webster's band on the record is Tim Cunningham on bass, Danny Murphy on guitars and Jim Sharrock on drums. Kieran Shudall of Circa Waves appears on "Across The River," and Rianne Downey sings on the closing track, "VAT."

Modern Sky's notes describe the record as a more reflective and vulnerable chapter in Webster's songwriting, taking on identity, resilience and mental wellbeing with greater openness. The lead single, "Just Begun," supplies the album's title in its lyric. Webster has said of it: "This album is about trying to make sense of it all. Life, pressure, expectations, the way things are changing around us and still holding onto who you are through it."

Webster is from Norris Green in Liverpool and worked as an electrician before turning to music full time. His earlier albums, We Get By (2020), Moments (2022) and 10 for the People (2024), all came out on Modern Sky, and the label counts three UK Top 10 albums among them, along with sold-out tours and festival appearances including Glastonbury.
