Standard Black Vinyl LP

This is the standard US pressing of Mercury – Act 1: one black LP at standard weight, issued by KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records on September 3, 2021. Both the band's official store and Interscope's own shop list it as the Black 1LP. The webstore's white-vinyl edition is a separate pressing under a different barcode.

The 13 songs run six on Side A and seven on Side B. Side A ends with "Easy Come Easy Go" and Side B starts with "Giants". The Discogs entry for this barcode credits the lacquer cut to Sterling Sound, and the record comes in a gatefold jacket. This LP has the original 13-track sequence. "Enemy," the Arcane soundtrack single added to later versions of the album in early 2022, is not on it.

Mercury – Act 1 is the band's fifth studio album and their first since Origins in 2018. Rick Rubin was executive producer. Frontman Dan Reynolds has said Rubin pushed him to write less metaphorically and to stay with the uncomfortable parts of a song. Reynolds has described the album as two halves, one organic and inward-looking, the other more aggressive and outward-facing. "Wrecked" was written after the death of his sister-in-law.

The lead single, released in March 2021, paired "Follow You" and "Cutthroat" as a double A-side. "Follow You," produced by Joel Little, reached No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart. The album debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, the band's fifth top-ten album in the US, and at No. 2 on both the Top Rock Albums and Alternative Albums charts. Its second half, Mercury – Act 2, followed in July 2022 as part of the double album Mercury – Acts 1 & 2.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Tracking & Safe Delivery

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

If a shipment is delayed, missing, or marked as delivered but not received, we’re happy to assist in coordinating with the carrier.

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.

Preorders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it is treated as a completed order and is subject to the return, refund, and exchange policies outlined above.
