Indie Exclusive Emerald Green Vinyl
The indie retail exclusive pressing of Acoustic Vol. 1 + 2 on emerald green vinyl, catalogue WAX-023. A separate Copper Emerald pressing exists under a different barcode; this is the emerald green.
The record collects two Hot Mulligan EPs. Acoustic Vol. 1 arrived in December 2021 with four acoustic re-recordings drawn from You'll Be Fine and the Pilot era. Acoustic Vol. 2 followed in September 2022 on Wax Bodega, produced by Brett Romnes, and added a Taking Back Sunday cover in "MakeDamnSure" alongside "Heem Wasn't There," which has never appeared anywhere else.
One title to take at face value: "Featuring Mark Hoppus" does not feature Mark Hoppus. It is a Pilot-era song name, and the joke is the point.
