Solar Flare is the independent-retail pressing of this album, a marbled yellow-orange shot through with red. Easy Eye Sound issued the record in several colorways — an ultra-clear pearlescent orange and a signed fluorescent pink through the label's own store, a translucent midnight orange swirl, and a standard black edition — and Solar Flare is the one that went to independent shops.

Los Ojos Del Cóndor is the third album Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez have made for Dan Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound. It was cut at Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville with Auerbach producing, the same pairing behind El Bueno y el Malo in 2022 and Sonido Cósmico in 2024. Ten instrumental tracks, with Alejandro on guitar and lap steel and Estevan on guitar and percussion.

The brothers were raised in Switzerland by an Ecuadorian mother and a Swiss father, visiting family in Playas on the Ecuadorian coast, and formed the duo in Zürich in 2015. Where the earlier Easy Eye records drew on the American Southwest, the titles here point to the Andes: Canto Andino, Ciudad Inca, Yanantin, Los Andes, Dios De La Paz. Of the title track the duo has said that "in the traditions of many Indigenous peoples of South America, the condor is regarded as a sacred connection between the earthly world and the world above."

Sonido Cósmico reached number 193 on the Billboard 200. The brothers played an NPR Tiny Desk Concert in 2023, appeared on Natalia Lafourcade's Latin Grammy-winning Cancionera in 2025, released their first English-language track, "Elegantly Wasted," with Leon Bridges the same year, and scored Jack Johnson's documentary SURFILMUSIC in 2026.
