Self-Released CD in Cardboard Sleeve

Goner is the 2022 full-length album from Portland, Oregon singer-songwriter Haley Johnsen, issued on her own Haley Johnsen Music LLC. This is the self-released compact disc. It holds twelve tracks on a single disc, comes in a cardboard sleeve and was manufactured by Disc Makers. The disc face is printed with her "HJ" monogram and the album title. It is the same CD Johnsen sells through her own shop.

Johnsen wrote and recorded the album during the peak of the pandemic, and the title track came first. She started it in a bathtub and finished it on a solo writing retreat in a vintage trailer on the Washington coast, where it was the first song she completed and demoed. "Goner" came out as a single in September 2021. Its music video was directed by Derich Hartfeil and filmed back at the trailer where the song was written. Johnsen has said the song is about romanticizing nostalgia and the fear of death, and she describes the album as a push and pull between confidence and self-doubt.

Tim Karplus co-wrote several of the songs with her, including the title track, "Common Ground," "Focus" and "Higher." Johnsen wrote "Renegade" and "Emily" on her own, and "Renegade" was also released as a single in 2022. American Songwriter's review described the record as carried by "'80s-tipped synth-pop and brushes of reflective ballads."

Johnsen reached the top 24 on season 11 of American Idol in 2012. Her debut album, Golden Days, followed in 2019, with Allen Stone guesting on "Weekend." That same year she recorded the live acoustic London Sessions at Abbey Road Studios. Since 2019 she has also played bass and sung backing vocals for Big Wild, including dates at Coachella and Red Rocks.

Shipping Speeds & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.

Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.

While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.

Signature Requirements

Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates and ensuring delivery to a secure location.

Evergreen Vinyl is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping address where deliveries can be received safely.

If a shipment is delayed, missing, or marked as delivered but not received, we’re happy to assist in coordinating with the carrier.

• Refund timing may vary depending on your payment provider

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns before filing a credit card dispute or chargeback.

Once a dispute or chargeback has been initiated, we are unable to proceed with refunds, replacements, or reshipments until the case is fully resolved. Resolution timelines are controlled by the payment processor and can take up to 120 days.
