Gold Shell Cassette
The cassette edition of Org Music's 2026 reissue, on a gold shell, produced with Tapehead City. The tape carries Dave Gardner's remaster from the original analog tapes.
The cover photograph is by Joel Brodsky and features model Barbara Cheeseborough; Henry H. Owings restored the artwork for this edition.
Funkadelic recorded the album at United Sound Systems in Detroit, and Westbound issued it in July 1971. The band at the sessions was George Clinton, Eddie Hazel, Tawl Ross, Bernie Worrell, Billy Nelson and Tiki Fulwood.
