The compact disc of Org Music's 2026 Maggot Brain reissue, carrying Dave Gardner's new master from the original analog tapes. This is the plain CD edition; a hybrid SACD is issued separately.
The seven tracks range from the opening ten-minute guitar instrumental to the nine-and-a-half-minute closer "Wars Of Armageddon," with five shorter vocal songs between them, running 37 minutes in total.
George Clinton produced the album at United Sound Systems in Detroit, with Eddie Hazel and Tawl Ross on guitars, Bernie Worrell on keyboards, Billy Nelson on bass and Tiki Fulwood on drums.
