Armageddon Red Vinyl, Gatefold
A single LP pressed on Armageddon Red vinyl, one of the colored editions Org Music issued alongside the black pressing for the 2026 reissue. The jacket is a gatefold, and the record was pressed at Furnace Record Pressing.
The title track is a ten-minute guitar piece by Eddie Hazel. According to George Clinton, who produced the sessions, he asked Hazel to play as though he had just learned his mother had died, and the take that opens the album is the result.
Alongside Hazel and Clinton, the lineup was Bernie Worrell on keyboards, Billy Nelson on bass, Tawl Ross on rhythm guitar and Tiki Fulwood on drums.
This pressing was cut from the original analog tapes by Dave Gardner and Catherine Vericolli with no digital stage between tape and lathe.
