Ultra Violet Vinyl LP, Cut From High-Resolution Tape Transfers
This is the Ultra Violet pressing of Funkadelic's 1970 debut, a single LP from Org Music's Westbound Records reissue series. Org Music cut the single LP edition from high-resolution transfers of the original tapes, which restoration specialist Catherine Vericolli archived and restored at 54 Sound Studios in Ferndale, Michigan. It was pressed at Furnace Record Pressing, and the jacket carries both the original Westbound catalog number, WB-2000, and the reissue number, ORGM-2326.
George Clinton produced the album at Tera Shirma Sound in Detroit across 1968 and 1969. The band was Eddie Hazel on lead guitar, Tawl Ross on rhythm guitar, Billy Bass Nelson on bass, Tiki Fulwood on drums and Mickey Atkins on organ, with Clinton, Fuzzy Haskins, Calvin Simon, Ray Davis and Grady Thomas singing.
The album reached No. 8 on Billboard's soul albums chart. Two of its songs charted as soul singles: "I'll Bet You" at No. 22 and "I Got a Thing, You Got a Thing, Everybody's Got a Thing" at No. 30.

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
Estimated delivery windows are quoted at checkout based on the shipping speed you select and your delivery address. Transit time begins after your order has been processed.
Typical delivery within the United States ranges from 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on location and selected service. Delivery times for Canada vary by destination and carrier, and may be affected by customs processing.
While most deliveries arrive within the quoted window, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected delivery speed.
Signature Requirements
Orders totaling over $250 may require a signature upon delivery to help ensure safe receipt. This is applied based on order value and carrier guidelines.
